Cleaning the ezDispense Drawer

Clean the ezDispense compartments every time you refill the detergent/softener or change to a new type of detergent/softener.

Remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer once or twice a month. Leaving detergent in the detergent dispenser drawer for an extended period or using the washing machine for a long time may cause the build-up of residue in the detergent dispenser drawer.

Warning
  • Do not spray water inside the washing machine. Doing so may cause fire or electric shock.

  • Turn off the washing machine, and unplug the power cord.

  • Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer until it stops.

  • Press down the disengage button a to completely remove the drawer.

  • Open the lids.

  • Clean the inserts with warm water.

    • Rinse the drawer in warm water to dissolve the detergent residue or softener scale.

    • Use a soft cloth or brush to remove any residue.

    • Do not use soap when cleaning the drawer and inserts.

  • If the detergent or softener is hardened inside the ezDispense compartments, remove the covers on the drawer.

  • Clean the insides of the compartments with warm water.

    • Use a soft cloth or brush to clean and to remove any residue.

    • Do not use soap when cleaning the drawer and inserts.

  • Securely close the covers on the ezDispense compartments.

  • Wipe off any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning.

  • Reinsert the detergent dispenser drawer.
